"Nothing special offered at check-in. A couple bottles of water are a nice addition. Dirty towels in pool area. Room tidy and comfortable. Breakfast needed restocked, 2 pieces of bacon left, bread area slim pickings, 2 of 4 juices empty, garbage full. Waffles always good! "

"Room was on 3rd floor, right next to all the ice and vending machines. I asked not to be have a room in this area. I got up to my floor and I thought it was a joke on me. The shower setup was horrible and difficult to use. I felt if the toilet paper dispenser was any farther away I would have to stand up off the throne to reach it. I haven't stayed in a hotel for a while, but I didn't know the travel size shampoo was no longer provided. I am grateful that I had a roof over my head and I was warm and dry. "

"My husband tells me that I am not the clientele that the courtyards are looking for. I can say that I absolutely agree with him. This is not a "family" hotel at all. To be fair, I don't believe they market themselves as such but here's my reasoning: 1) no free breakfast 2) no bathtubs, only weird showers that have no door and are absolutely clear so only one person can use the bathroom at a time (family of 4 trying to get ready in the morning) 3) INCREDIBLY CRAPPY in-room coffee and no "free" coffee throughout the day 4)no pool (what??!). These are such little things to some people but to our family, it is what we love about hotel stays. (Hubby booked this one, what can I say?). Having said that, the staff is always incredibly friendly. The food at the bistro was delicious in the morning. This particular one was a bit older than others but it still had the same basic idea as the newer ones. The rooms were clean. Three pillows per queen size bed. Only three towels despite having four on the reservation (I think that's a nationwide hotel problem though) Lots of parking available. Easy checkout. So definitely not a BAD stay. Just not as good as it could be. Oh! and the SOAP! I wish I had a picture. They have cut the already small hotel soaps in HALF. and now you use it once and it crumbles and shreds. Just yuck! "
