"Check-in was fine, but the leisure facilities were a letdown. The pool was cold, the jacuzzi didn’t work, and the steam room was out of order. Lockers were unreliable and needed a £1 coin, which is odd for a card-only facility.
The saunas are segregated and located in the changing rooms, which isn’t ideal for a couples stay. The male sauna also smelled strongly of urinals. We left almost immediately. At least we weren’t charged.
We booked an Executive room, but it didn’t feel like one. The...

"Only two reasons for not getting 5 stars; no plug sockets by the bed… why? Had to charge my phone across the room. They had USB sockets but not all devises use USB! The second reason is the shuttle is £4 each way… I think that’s too much. Apart from these things though, great hotel. It’s clean and modern. The check-in was quick and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. "

"The room was really clean. Bath was updated and loved the towel warmer. The rooms could use an update, down-side was is was really dark. More lamps or brighter bulbs would be appreciated.
The dining area has great food, we had a dinner and two breakfasts. The full English was more than my husband could eat. All in all a delightful stay. "

"What a surprising airport hotel. I did not expect it. The room was very spacious. Surprisingly big really. The bathroom was rather contemporary and clean. Room was quiet. The shuttle to the airport goes around the clock (or at least when I needed it for a small fee). I won definitely recommend this hotel. "
