"I rarely write reviews. This was one of the more bizarre experiences I have ever had. This was an unexpected stay (family rented a house nearby and there was not enough room) so we didn't want to spend a lot of money and needed a location closeby. So it was an interesting stay. The inside of the hotel is so incredibly outdated I don't even know where to begin. Everything about the interior was hideous in my opinion and I was not expecting that. "we enjoyed our stay, the only issues we had were the TV in the main living room didn't work and the queen bed downstairs was an air bed and kept deflating in the middle of the night. The unit was well equipped and we did enjoy our stay overall."

"The property was beautiful and in a great location. We did have one small hiccup on arrival but the staff handled it immediately and made sure the rest of our stay was great."

"This hotel is located right next to the highway so you do hear cars all nights. They were completely booked when we got there so there were a lot of people there. After a long day or traveling, there was no hot shower. Talk to the hotel staff they said they were working on it. Still no hot water the next morning. Staff said sorry we are working on it and that’s it! If you want quiet, comfortable bed and hot shower! DO NOT COME HERE !"

"The swimming pool was smaller than the actual pool. For the amount of people in the pool it was ridiculous."

"You can't put lipstick on a pig. This is a very old property that some updating has been done but mostly to the common areas. Although the room seemed clean, the carpet looked worn and dirty. Opening the window was difficult and something I wished I had gloves on before I touched it. The location is great."

"The greeting staff did not provide good instructions on where to park and so I ended up in private parking at a much higher cost. They said Vail has no mosquitos except at the river, and I trusted them only to get bit quite a bit the first night. The rooms do not come with any nightlights so you basically have to leave the bright bathroom light on all night. Many seniors go several times a night. The pillows were extremely fluffy and they could not provide anything thinner. Would not recommend...
