"Staff was helpful when asked directions."

"Had to buzz to get in building, staff was unfriendly and thought we had to go outside to goer to room. No elevator which would have been nice to know as one of our group is still getting over surgery. Entrance is in strip mall and cost did not reflect it was not a regular hotel with bare minimum basics. Clerk also insisted on taking my credit card and writing the security number even after taking a $250 security hold, the most of any recent hotel I have stayed at. Overall uncomfortable...

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I had appointments at St Boniface hospital and it is walking distance to that. I was disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room. I had leftover from my lunch meal and I had to take it down to he front desk for them to heat. When I asked the girl why there wasn't a microwave she said that they offer 2 restaurants so she didn't see the need for microwaves. I'm not a fan of the rainhead shower which is what they have but that's just a...

"Every hotel room should take note the Mere does it right. I have high expectations for cleanliness and I was not disappointed. The storage unit is a great use of space and the two robes came in handy because the room was either freezing or too warm. That’s one of two negatives. I think the thermometer wasn’t working correctly, yes I mentioned it when I checked out. The only other complaint was the parking. Definitely not enough and the spots are very tight.we had a truck and couldn’t fit into...

"We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"

"Hotel was being used as a housing unit for some misplaced individuals. We thought it would be fine so we proceeded with our stay at the hotel only to arrive and immediately ask that we be switched to a new hotel. Floors 1-9 were FULL, consequently could not use any of the amenities they had to offer us. We were escorted even in the elevators by security with random people running in and out of the building a very unsettling experience. Area around the hotel was not nice either. "
