But it was the people, the staff of this hotel, who left the biggest impression. To a person, they were kind, helpful, welcoming, and profoundly concerned with meeting my needs and being of assistance. Here’s an example: my travel companion was ill and needed more cough medicine. When I went to the concierge to ask where I might buy this particular formulation, she arranged to send a hotel staff member to fetch it for me, and I was only charged the cost of the medication. I especially enjoyed the afternoon high tea, usually held in the courtyard, which included music, sometimes dancing for entertainment, and occasionally a local artisan demonstrating their skill. I have a beautiful lac bangle bracelet as a souvenir. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. SIX STARS! "

"The breakfast was limited but tasty . The overall stay was very good we even got upgraded to business class room . The only negative is the price of room service item , I got 2 plain roti for almost Rs300 and one cup of tea was more than Rs400"
