"We wanted to “get away” and that’s what we got at La Estancia. We get to spend quality time with family. The resort catered to our needs. PROS: >They offer airport to resort to airport transfers for a fee if less than 8 persons but if you are a group of 8, the van is free. "careful of the sugar/black ants, unavoidable but definitely no open food in the room and will be fine, they don't bite at least. other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent."

"Stayed for 4 nights in Discovery Coron. This is actually our 2nd time in this island resort. The services were great. All the staff were courteous. Special mention to Theresa who always writes special messages to us when she comes to our villa for the turn down service. Special mention to Ian, who always greet us with a beautiful smile. He always takes a step ahead to make us feel special. My partner, Larry enjoyed having a conversation with him and we noticed that he does this to every guests....
