"The hotel was AMAZING!! Every detail was well thought out and the service was impeccable. Definitely have dinner on the property for the wonderful views and the excellent food!"
"The hotel, room and location are beautiful. The property itself is spacious, comfortable and the interior design reflects the surrounding area and vibe quite well without being gimmicky. "What I would call a nice old-fashioned hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful but spoke very little English. Google Translate was a massive help. The room was clean large comfortable with doors to balcony which overlooked the car park car parking was free of charge. Hotel has a bar where drinks were available but no restaurant breakfast was continental with an excellent choice even had English breakfast tea although we were only there for one night while my partner was crossing the Pyrenees on his bicycle thoroughly recommend."
"Really the best place to stay in Besalú. Nice clean rooms that have everything you need with a helpful staff that are multilingual (much appreciated)! Breakfast is there if you need it and they have a good selection."
"The staff were friendly and helpful :)
Tortella is a quaint town surrounded by beautiful nature and Hotel Alta Garroxta is a great jumping off point! "
