"We chose the property because although it was in a very quiet area, it was said have difference areas of musical entertainment and a really good vibe. We are a bit older and don’t club anymore but it doesn’t mean we don’t love the music and party, we just like daytime and early evening. All these zones of pool area and places things were going on totally oversold and there was a minimum spend on the main pool area over looking the beach that wasn’t mentioned on booking. That wouldn’t have been so bad but the drinks were extortionate, 1 beer, one aperol for over 27 euros. The main restaurant was Mexican which was a bit naff and if you were not eating there on that night then you didn’t get that entertainment. The breakfast was totally over promised, there was no eggs Benedict or Eggs Royal or anything that was special. The meat and cheeses were minimal. The pastries were sadder than a sale in Lidl and that is a shame as the breakfast staff worked hard. The rooms were good, bed very comfortable and shower all good, we did get a partial sea view as promised. Reception didn’t tell us anything on arrival and now i know why, This didn’t live up to anything expected"
"The food was honestly very poor and cheap quality produce. The rooms weren’t clean : coffee marks on the cupboards, grease marks on the surfaces, dirty kettle, floor was dirty with sand and clumps of dust. There were stains on the sofas too. The room look like they have been refurbished cheaply, wallpaper hanging off, very outdated kitchen appliances too. The plastic balcony railing is very dangerous and wobbles so please consider if travelling with young children. Most of the staff look like they don’t want to be there (except the cleaning crew who were lovely). The reception staff weren’t even able to tell us what the wifi password was and we had to ask for beach towels instead of being given them straight away at check in. Good pool facilities for children."
"Had no issues with the hotel, very clean, plenty of space around all the pools and good choice of food and drink. Just be mindful that the hotel is not all inclusive as Expedia has advertised.
Whether that’s changed on the site yet is still to be established. Can’t fault the hotel and would return."
"The hotel was lovely to look at. Our experience with staff varied in that some were not welcoming and also could not provide us with the information we needed, yet others were very accomodating. Our biggest disappointment was upon arrival we were told that 2 of the restaurants in the hotel were closed. Also I would add that the dinner buffet costs 87 euro per person excluding drinks. We did try the buffet on one night and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. However, there are many restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel in Santa Eularia. We found all of the ones we chose to be of excellent quality and value.
There was very little information available about where to get towels for the pool, what time you could get towels, what time meals were served in the one major dining room."
"Can't fault the hotel or staff.location is secluded to say the least.only a local souvenir shop and 2 good sized supermarkets nearby.so if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to stay.Needs more evening entertainment."
"This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, it is spotlessly clean and staff are amazing. We have stayed here several times and always had a really great experience.
Our most recent stay in May was sadly very different to the experiences we have had before and on this basis I am not sure we will return. During our previous stays, other guests have always been respectful and pleasant but during this stay the hotel felt more like a rowdy family all inclusive. We saw guests were using their hands to pick up items at the breakfast buffet, despite there being plenty of tongs available, we saw people taking glass bottles of water and napkins full of food out to the pool area (despite staff asking them not to), the mess left on and around tables during breakfast was utterly disgusting. At the pool, a loud man and his children spent most of one morning throwing balls to each other from one end of the pool to the other, preventing anyone else from swimming up and down, they were shouting to each other with no regard for others. People were putting towels out over sunbeds and then going for breakfast and not actually coming out to the pool for a couple of hours - I know this can be a problem in lots of hotels but we’d never experienced at Las Aguas before. One lady reserved seven sunbeds but her family didn’t come down to use them until mid morning. Staff look fed up and although it’s still gorgeous, just be warned thatthis hotel is no longer a peaceful, luxurious experience."
