"Beautiful view and very friendly staff. You do have to take a water taxi ($1 and operates 24/7) to the main part of downtown Santa Cruz but the view is worth it! Also it’s across from The Point by Midoro which as an amazing view and food. I would stay there again! "

"Relatively new hotel by a family who is passionate about hospitality. Huge rooms, elegantly appointed, and the best bed I’ve ever slept in. Unusual for a rather downscale town, but still felt authentic to the surroundings. Beautiful public spaces on all floors with scenic views. And a genuinely warm staff. "

"We had a great stay at Blu Galapagos. Loved the location and our room was perfect - Great view, well maintained and had a king bed. Even if the description says queen bed and the picture looks like a king, you can trust the picture. Morning breakfast with iguanas and seals, and all day Galapagos coffee availability made this stay special. "

"Hotel Coloma is in the Main Street with easy access to shops and Pier. Staff were friendly and the breakfast, fresh and delicious with your choice of eggs whatever way you want them. We needed 1 night prior to cruise departing - this was perfect. "

"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. Blu Galapagos Sustainable Waterfront Lodge

"I was very pleased with Blu Galapagos. The rooms were very clean, great view, very helpful staff. My only recommendation would be to not use the tour company in the hotel. I booked a tour after being very specific in what I wanted to see. I was assured it was possible but once I arrived the tour guide explained there was not enough time within my limited time to see what I came for. Very disappointed. Was not offered any refund or other compensation. The tour was not inexpensive and feel I was completely lied to and intentionally misled. "
