The owners of this property Larry and Pam are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The room is nice and pretty. The sunset is beautiful in the backyard. Everything is great.
Larry and Pam are the most wonderful hosts in their amazingly beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, cozy and clean. The property is delightful. Breakfast is served at 9am and is truly amazing. They bake and prepare their own dishes using fresh vegetables and fruits from their gardens. Presentation is one of excellence, makes each guest feel special and is absolutely delicious. We loved every minute of our stay and thank them both for making us feel so welcome.
This inn is an old historic building. So with that in mind, it was cozy, had charm, terrific friendly innkeepers, the best gourmet fresh breakfasts- but its old. Small claw foot tub shower, older furniture but comfortable mattress. Very convenient to Santa Rosa Main Street. Charming grounds and vineyard. We spent a couple of nights and were very happy we chose this inn over a modern genetic hotel.
Nice property. A little bit out of town, so you have to drive to restaurants. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast not served until 9am which was too late for us - a big disappointment, as I hear breakfast is quite the event at the Gables.
We loved our stay at the Gables Inn of Santa Rosa. Such an exquisite historical property, fully modernized but retaining its elegant, old style charm. Proprietors thought of every touch to make us comfortable. Full of antique furniture, decor and touches, our hosts prepared delicious breakfasts, ( to the sound of music from another age) including fresh produce from their farm and even had wine from their vineyard to taste. Back deck among redwoods was soothing, and strolling through their property was a treat.
Very comfortable staying. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights. We really enjoyed our time at the Gables Inn. The property was enjoyable to walk around. Pam and Larry were as hospitable as I’ve experienced. The breakfast was a 10! Fantastic and enjoyable. Loved our stay!!
The breakfast was spectacular and they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Gourmet 3 course breakfast! We stayed in the cottage and was nice and quiet with lots of privacy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The hosts were super nice and was wonderful to know the history of the Inn.
Gables is a beautiful place and run by delightful people! The breakfast was delicious; the grounds were lovely and our room was comfortable, spacious and wonderful! Highly recommended!

Yes, it was beautiful and so cute. My husband and I had a wondeful time. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was good.
Fantastic breakfast and wonderful ambience. Exactly what I wanted out of a B&B. Larry and Pam were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The building was very charming and full of Victorian style. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Wonderful place to stay! We had a great time. The breakfasts they serve is to die for.
We loved staying in the cottage on the property. It was perfect for our needs. The property setting is beautiful and the breakfast prepared and served by the hosts is just extraordinary. We look forward to a return visit!..
Pam and Larry's hospitality was phenomenal. Breakfast was absolutely delightful each morning.
My wedding was just down the street from the Gables Inn, and they allowed us to use the cottage as a bridal suite.
The property grounds were breathtaking.
It had been a dream to stay at the Gables Inn since I was a little girl, and it was everything I imagined.
We had a wonderful time! We stayed at the cottage and it was lovely, had our own fireplace with a small refrigerator and some utensils, so we had a nice little dinner with local goods and wine we purchased in nearby stores. The location is perfect to visit Sonoma. The breakfast was very delicious and generous. Samantha and her husband took very good care of us. Definitely recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast!
Larry and Pam were the consummate hosts and chefs. The egg soufflé was fantastic and the breakfast was great and not too filling. Our room was spacious and despite being a house from the 1880’s, everything was in good working order and the property is large and comfortable. We will return when we are in the area.
Innkeepers Pam and Larry really deliver the "breakfast" in B&B. You start each day with a gourmet, three-course meal featuring locally sourced ingredients. With a full belly, you venture out to explore Sonoma County from the inn's prime location just south of Santa Rosa. In the evening, you enjoy a bottle of the wine you brought back while sitting among the vines of the inn's own vineyard. For a romantic wine country weekend, an ordinary hotel just does not measure up to the experience of staying at the Gables.
We keep coming back here. Beautiful, and beautifully restored, old Victorian home. Check out the book in the parlor that recounts its history.
It’s perfectly situated to serve as a home base for a wine tasting trip. We also stayed here when we attended the Cotati Accordion Festival.
Larry and Pam are the perfect hosts. When we asked for a dinner recommendation, they made reservations and gave us printed directions to the restaurant.
During this last recent visit, they hosted a grape stomp (inspired by the “I Love Lucy” episode); ‘twas a blast!
But the best part is breakfast. Larry is an over-the-top foodie. Our first breakfast started with a home baked, white chocolate/black cherry, still warm scone. That was followed by a baked, spiced pear (home grown by the way, like many other ingredients), topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yes, breakfast with a dessert, before the main course even!
During our last breakfast, Pam apologized that we were getting the same thing twice. She brought out Larry’s two-egg soufflé, which confused us, because we hadn’t had that for breakfast . . . during that trip. Turns out, they track what they’ve served their guests during past visits, so they never have the same thing twice. Truth be told, we’d be happy with that every breakfast.
We’ll be back!
PS - If you have an electric car, they have two charging stations.
