The property really needs a full renovation, most of the pools are in bad conditions. The estructures look old and out of maintenance. Food is good. Staff was nice.

The place is great for the price and area. The property is an older one but the rooms are clean. The staff are great once again this is a big property in a smaller town. The views are amazing , the restaurant overlooking the river . I have stayed here before and everything was great like my last stay. Please understand this is an older property so don’t expect conditions of a brand new hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, traditional Dominican food with a variety of breads and fruits. Will visit again!

This is a very beautiful, unique property with a river running right through the middle of it. There is a bridge to cross over, various areas to explore, and several swimming pools. The included breakfast is excellent—you can choose off a menu of various hot meals like eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, and traditional Dominican meals. The rooms are very basic but have fans and a/c; however it got cool enough at night that we didn’t use those. WiFi was so weak in our room we really couldn’t use it, but the signal at the pool and restaurant was strong. We had fun playing pool and ping pong. It was slow season so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Rates were very reasonable, and although the place was a bit rundown, it was clean, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Staff was very nice, breakfast was very good, AC and fan worked very nice, some bathroom conditions must be addressed and better seating should also be a priority as only two plastic chairs may not suffice for a stay. Other than that, a nice place to visit.

The location of the JRC straddling the river is stunning, the concept of the design is amazing. The execution was really poor and maintenance is subpar.

The pool area and the restaurant was decent. The food was good and staff was friendly. Room was updated, fridge didn’t work, damaged walls, moldy bathroom, very low water pressure in shower, cracked door, a hole in the bathroom ceiling, no hot water, dirty towels. A room for 4 people and they only gave me 2 towels because that’s all they had they said. Also we had an unexpected guest… a cockroach. Definitely not worth 130 dollars per night. Don’t waste your money!

The resort has an amazing location with the river on the property and a nice pool, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms were in bad condition—shower doors falling, water leaking from the ceiling, and poor internet connection. We were told renovations are planned soon, and I hope this is true because the place has great potential and many activities in the area. I would recommend it once these issues are fixed

Property is not well kept. The view and the surroundings are beautiful but the rooms need work. Needs maintenance and better care. Room did not look clean. Refrigerator looked dirty. Shower felt like it was going to cave in and sink had a never ending leak. Water drops were like a torture through the night. You could also hear everything going on next door.

This property has amazing potential. I truly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff was wonderful, but they have truly dropped the ball when it comes to maintenance and upgrades. This could be sold out spot if they invested in the upgrades.
