Beautiful colonial building with tasteful attention to details. Our stay was even made more amazing by the attentive staff. Appreciated Ollie from check in to check out and Raymond the manager for his hospitable welcome. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Muchas gracias!

Vey nice clean small hotel, a little bit on the expensive side. Breakfast is excellent. The gentleman doing the check out was rude and unprofessional. I asked if I could stay until 3PM due to flight changes, the answer was yes. At check out he charged me US$50 for a late checkout without saying a word. That is precisely what I asked before, if I could stay without a fee since the hotel was half empty. When I questioned him about the US$50 he started arguing very rudely about it. That person has no business at a customer service position.

Cozy, elegant, artistic; Awesome surprise!! Staff gies the extra mile to please guests. The rooms are on the small side, but the place is SO WELL taken care off that i did not mind at all. I recommend it 100%.

The staff were very nice and the property had amazing artwork throughout. Being an older building there was no sound insulation for the entrance door.

Charming in-town oasis

My grandchildren and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Villa Colonial. It is truly an oasis of calm and charm in the city. Rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Special thanks to Valex at reception.

Accueil excellent et serviabilité fantastique

Bonne surprise à l'arrivée, l'accueil est excellent, en français. Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite à l'aise. Nous avons été orientés vers de bonnes adresses de restaurants à proximité et pour les visites dans le centre-ville. Le petit déjeuner est excellent (salade de fruit frais, oeufs, charcuterie, yaourt, tartines et confitures maison). Le wi-fi est très bon. Le transport vers l'aéroport a été organisé par l’hôtel au prix normal. Une très bonne adresse à recommander sans hésiter pour visiter Saint Domingue!
