Bandelier National Monument preserves the homes and territory of the Ancestral Pueblo People. Most of the pueblo structures date to two eras, in total from 1150 to 1600. It was once inhabited by the ancient Puebloans (incorrectly known as the Anasazi), the ancestors of some of the modern-day Native American pueblos of northern New Mexico. For some unknown reason, probably related to drought and decline in agriculture, the Puebloans abandoned this site, but the area is still honored by the present-day Pueblo people. #hiking

Only stayed one night after a long day of travel. The staff were amazing and the room was very clean. It was a great stay.

Homestly, you can beat the value of this hotel. For the price, you get a great room, in a location that is in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and Meow Wolf, the staff is extremely friendly, you can bring your pets and they have hand made breakfast burritos with green chili salsa!

My second time to stay at La Dea- great location if you want to catch a show at the brewery nearby! Clean, spacious, thoughtful decorations and touches. Would 100% recommend and definitely plan to stay here again.
