"While this hotel was not in the city of Lagos, it was an easy drive to the downtown area and waterfront. Set among the old homes in a quaint area. The lady who runs it was wonderful and very helpful with suggestions where to eat and how to get downtown. For a non-discriminatory traveller on a budget. This is a wonderful place to stay."

The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. "As you know I book our travels through Expedia regularly. This was the worst, and the only dreadful experience we have ever had. Check in at the “check in centre” was dreadful, slow and not as expected. We expected to be staying close to the sea, as we had when we visited last year, but our accommodation was several miles inland and very very disappointing. "Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away."
