"Amazing room and stay. Washroom was a bit small though, it was hard to use the loo if you’re a man and standing up.
Otherwise breakfast was amazing! "

"Beautiful old building in central Cirencester, tastefully decorated and with extremely well trained staff.
We ate breakfast and our evening meal there and both were excellent in the lovely brasserie.
The spa and gym were at the time closed for refurbishment, but it was only for one night so didn’t affect us.
We had a lovely room with a Cathedral view with lots of space and good sized en-suite.
Highly recommend-we’ll be back."
"Very long distances to the rooms. All vehicle chargers broken. Overcrowded, especially at breakfast. Breakfast bacon hard and turned over on itself and cemented to itself. £35 steak tough - no information about how many days hung. Small bowls for cereal, small glasses for orange juice. Good variety of cereals at breakfast. Dining areas always very noisy - loud guffaws and very loud conversations. Guests at dinner in Bermuda shorts. Parking too far away from reception. Staff always helpful. Rooms lovely - large and well designed. Good design throughout hotel, especially pottery."
"Great location, Great staff and lobby areas, Rooms were great, bathrooms a little tired.
Pool area needed a lot of attention, the steam room was totally out of action and the fact there was a daily parking charge on top of the room charge was disapointing."
"This hotel is obviously struggling and standards are slipping and corners being cut which is a shame as the building is a lovely example of victorian gothic."
"Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more. The warmth and friendliness of the staff, the comfort and charm of the room, and the thoughtful attention to detail in every aspect, from the amenities to the exceptional food, came together perfectly to create an unforgettable experience. Our time in the Cotswold's was truly one of the most memorable trips of our lives, and we could not have asked for more."
"The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add.
The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few phones around and order food whilst fellow guests walked past. It's a good thing I'm not self conscious!
The food itself was ok, though being lactose intolerant seriously restricted my choices ( good thing I'm not a vegan!).
Otherwise, the staff were very nice and I have no complaints on that front.
Can't comment on the pool facilities as we didn't use them (despite paying for them) but that was entirely our fault."
"Booked for one night and paid just shy of £200 for a standard double. The pictures of the hotel and room looked good so was happy to pay,. However, the room we got, room 44 was right at the back of the hotel in the 1980/90's extension, the room was small and tired, particularly in the bathroom where the door has no lock and paint had been knocked off, the ventilation fan also didn't work and wasn't fitted properly. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are friendly. We also ate in the restaurant which was pleasant but we had a 20 minute wait for our drinks. I felt it was expensive for what it was £100 for 2 starters and 2 mains with 2 drinks. For £300 I feel there is better out there. Made my feelings felt on departure and received an apology and assurances my comments will be passed on, won't be returning."
"It’s was a little nosy during the night as the walls maybe a little thin and you can hear everything from the next room. Apart from that it’s a lovely hotel with an outstanding spa facilities. "
