Very moving to see the reconstruction and indications of the devastating time the area lived through.The cable car ride is well worth the climb to get to the lower station.

Cities near Sarajevo

Lokvanjsko Lake is tucked in the foothills of surrounding peaks and frozen during winter. There are few trails that will take you to this lake, but I recommend coming from Mrtvanjski Stanari (a 2 hours long hike). You can return the same way or do a loop hike.
