The lake view is fabulous, host was no friendly, location good on the way to Jasper.
Lovely property. Quiet & peaceful! Use of kayaks & tubes and on the lake, and beautiful hot tubs at night with a lake view! Great host & nice continental breakfast!
The property is very nice. Has hot tubs, barbecues, continental breakfast in the morning and is right on the water. The staff and owner ate very nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend this place.
This is a quaint property with a nice view out to Kamloops Lake. The room was clean. The host was hospitable and interesting to talk to. We would stay again.
Beautiful property. The water out front is perfect for a swim, it’s awesome to have the paddle boards and hot tub available. Lance is very helpful and nice to talk with.
I had a genuinely enjoyable experience at blue shore resort. From the moment I arrived, the property manager, Lance, was outstanding, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The room was spotless, comfortably furnished, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The Lake House was spectacular! The views were gorgeous and the place was spacious and beautiful! It was a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the outdoors. There was an outdoor hot tub which was lovely. And the staff were amazing! They made you feel right at home and welcomed! We recommend this place to all our friends and family. It was truly a wonderful place.
Very attractive resort with a most genial and hard-working manager, Lance. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, hot tubs, and the continental breakfast. Outings included lessons and meals at Tobiano Golf Course, a hike to Balancing Rock, and the BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops. Unit #8 dated and cramped, but spotlessly clean, with a nice lake view and access.
Very pretty location right on the lake. Nice grounds to relax. Dining however is an issue. Driving to Kamloops is not bad but takes about 20 minutes and that is the only nearby dining choices. We were supposed to get checkin instructions 24 hours before in an email. Did not get that so had to find Wi-Fi so I could call since no cell service.
This was a great stay. I was surprised by how much we enjoyed it since it was just an affordable place to stay for the night. It was super clean, homey, and the owner was very personable. The mattress is new and super comfy. The shower has also been recently redone. The place has paddle boards and kayaks we took out on the water for the afternoon. The continental breakfast was served in a sun room with a lake view. Fresh cherries picked from the tree on the property was part of breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Spotlessly clean, beautiful grounds, cute rooms, nice view, comfortable beds, in room fridge and microwave, our room had a very small bathroom, no elevator, good muffins and coffee provided for breakfast. Be aware Kamloops Lake is part of a fast moving river with strong currents and is not safe for swimming.
Lance the manager could not have been more helpful or friendly the rooms were very nicely decorated and spotless clean it was lovely walking around the garden down to the river and on to the jetty you even had a couple of hot tubs to use. We found it very relaxing just sitting on the balcony with a drink looking across the river at the passing trains in the distance just perfect.
There could be a few minor problems for some travellers but with some forward planning should not be a problem. As with most of Canada you have to buy your wine and beer from a bottle store..There are not any close by so bring some with you..
There are not any restaurants near so eat at lunch time and bring a snack with you there is a petrol station close by but with very limited food selection.
In the evening there are a few insects looking for a meal so don’t forget your spray..
And unfortunately there is a railway track about 200 meters from the front of the property we had one train passing at about 11 pm and another around 5 am both travelling very slowly there might of been more but as all the rooms face to the back we didn’t notice them, the other two didn’t bother us as it’s something we had not experienced before. And when we get back to Canada again we will look forward to my return visit to Blue Shore Resort .
It's so soothing in the hot tub after a long drive. Lence is friendly and welcoming. It's the best stay amount my entire vacation. Will come back again
