Clean and comfy room, we slept wonderfully well! Nice hot shower, plenty of towels and a kettle in the room. We enjoyed walking to Scarborough Castle, St. Mary’s church and around the Pier from this location. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Awesome little gem

This is definitely my ‘go to’ in Scarborough. Very clean, friendly staff, and parking. Rooms are small, but I would definitely choose this over a well known hotel chain. A couple of the rooms have a shared bathroom, but don’t let this put you off. Only downside for some may be the stairs which are steep and narrow. over the road is a great pub as well.

Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back!

Amazing little gem

This guest house is one of the cleanest properties I have stayed in. Rooms are compact, but comfortable. The shared bathroom isn’t really shared as a lot of the rooms have en-suite, so don’t let it put you off if that is the only room available. The towels provided are thick and fluffy. Deania the host is very welcoming and will make sure you are happy.

We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again.

The accomodation was fantastic. We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was large, very clean, and had all the facilities required for a great holiday. Our host Rick was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Fab hotel, close to open air arena

Booked for the Paul Weller conceet at the open air arena. The arena was 10mins walk from hotel. Lovely friendly check in and room was lovely. Fab concert and fab night stay.

Nice guest house, stayed 1 night for a short break in Scarborough. Tim had great communication explained everything very helpful and made sure we were OK and happy. Last minute stay.

We only booked the day before in order to attend a Scarborough Outdoor Theatre show. Rick was brilliant in letting us know our room would be ready early for us and how to go about parking etc. The room was great, really comfy bed, clean, well thought out and with nice touches to make our stay comfortable. Centrally placed between North and South Bay, easy to walk to both. Would highly recommend,especially if visiting for Theatre or the cricket.
