"We liked the autonomy of the coded entry, and having a full kitchen available, and large luxurious bathrooms, even though they weren’t attached to our room. The building had the vibe of a dormitory in a fancy private school, and reminded us of some of the McMenamins we have stayed at. Floor is a little bit squeaky, which is to be expected in such an old building. It would be very difficult for anybody with mobility issues to stay here. "My daughter and I enjoyed staying here very much. This is a unique, well maintained, historic home. Local restaurants and food market are near by, within walking distance. Communication was very easy with the owner."
"The property was amazing. Things I didn’t like, it was a basement unit, and always cool. No way to control the temperature ( that I could find) in the unit. The only parking is on the street. I had to plan ahead what to bring in. The neighbors in the back, had an Apple tree. There were yucky, dead apples all along the path to the back and the stairs. I was visiting my grandson in the UW district. Was very convenient for that "
"A nice suite with condiments in the kitchen. Makes me feel like coming home after a day out. Good coffee supplied and a nice sharp cutting knife ready to make dinner. Other little things around that make it feel like a home. In winter take warm cushy socks as the door opens to the living room and makes it cool on the floor. Not able to control heat, but it was at a temperature I liked -maybe not for others? I will look for this place again when needed"
