"I had a frustrating experience during my stay that came down to a basic service failure. My room included a pull-out sofa, but when I requested an extra comforter so it could actually be used as a bed, the staff refused. Their reasoning was that they “didn’t know” the hotel had pull-out sofas. That response was surprising and unprofessional. A pull-out sofa is clearly intended as a sleeping space, and providing appropriate bedding should be standard. Instead, I was left without a practical way to use part of the room I paid for. The issue wasn’t just the missing comforter—it was the lack of awareness and unwillingness to resolve a simple, reasonable request. This reflects poorly on staff training and customer service. I would recommend confirming amenities in advance if you plan to rely on them, as the on-site support may not meet expectations."
