Hotel SOA

"You can tell Zabljak is starting to build up and prepare for more tourists and this can also be seen at Hotel SOA and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is nice, though the view could leave a bit to be desired. But who is staying in their room when they have all the outdoor exploring to do? The good: The room is spacious. We had two balconies, a couch with a lounge seating area, a dinner table, and a little kitchenette. The bed is in a separate room, perfect for if you want to sleep in and your partner wants to get up early. There is a free private sauna and steam room and if you want to book excursions through the hotel, it’s cheaper than Viator. The meh: The bathroom is very small and our shower head seemed clogged so it took a bit to rinse off. There is only one air conditioner and it’s in the main area so if you close the bedroom door, it won’t reach you. Luckily it was cool and we didn’t much need it, but when we used it and closed the door, you could feel the difference. Those things didn’t matter much to us, but were worth pointing out. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The bed was soft and the sheets smelled clean and of lavender fresh from the line. Would definitely stay here and recommend to my friends."

"Hotel was in a great location. Short walk into town to go to restaurants/ bars in Zabljak. 30 minute drive to or hike in dormitor national park. Staff was friendly and very helpful, especially Alexander. Breakfast buffet was huge and delicious."

"This property has everything you could ask for, it is surrounded by pine trees, fields with a backdrop of snow capped mountains. There is parking right outside. You have a porch with seating and Mountain View’s. Inside you have a lovely big sofa and tv, the kitchen area is very well stocked with lots of appliances from toasted sandwich maker to pancake pans. The coffee machine is a nescafé Dulce gusto machine, they gave us 4 pods for 3 nights so not enough. You will have to buy some if staying longer. The bathroom is great and has a heated floor which was a nice touch, the is a washing machine with powder and fabric conditioner available along with an airer to dry clothes. Plenty of towels. The stairs are quite steep and could do with a hand rail for the top. Two bedrooms upstairs, main room has a nice big comfortable bed, beware of low sloping ceiling if you are window side of the bed. There is a travel cot in there and a little rail to hang things up. All windows have fly screens on and there is air con and heating in the property. The second bedroom had 2 single beds in much easier to use this room. It also has a little hanging space. Over all this was a fantastic house to stay in and a great location for the national park and Tara canyon. Sat nav takes you right to the front door. 100% recommended it and would stay again. Thanks"

"We got the last available room after a visit to the National Park. It wasn't the best room, as it was apparently the last one not renovated since re-opening after a 6 month shutdown for offseason. What the room lacked, the staff, location, and especially the breakfast, made up for. I was NOT expecting a feast at 8 am but that is what we got. WOW! Fabulous!! Also, we enjoyed the sauna and pool, which, despite having been closed for the 6 months, we in perfect condition for great enjoyment. The staff can't repair and renovate the facility overnight but they sure are managing the manageable and making the stay a pleasure. The English spoke was also wonderful and helped us change our entire days planned day and route back to Kotor. Amazing area. Thanks, Team."
