"The landlord was very helpful, responsive, and clear when resolving issues. While the cleaning team acted quickly to rectify initial problems, the property wasn't in ideal shape upon check-in—there was a strong food odor, table runners very shabby, buildup in the shower, rusted fixtures, and broken plastic items. The swift follow-up was appreciated, but the initial clean and bathroom maintenance could certainly be improved."

"Family with children so we required the use of the sofa bed, unfortunately the sofa bed was like sleeping in a ashtray, I am very disappointed that the apartment smelt heavy of stale cigarettes, especially when you are asked to pay a cleaning bill on arrival! The owners have put a huge effort into making the apartment a welcoming, very neat and exceptionally well presented living space, but other faults are they the air conditioner drips onto to small balcony, leaving a pool of water to sit in....

"Couldn’t say enough good things about this location. I screwed up my bus schedule the day before and they allowed me to move my room booking to the next night (for a reasonable fee of course) I was so thankful they did that. I arrived at almost 23:00 at night and the lady at reception was so helpful. She knew that I was changing my reservation date and the transaction was smooth and hassle free. Also the room was perfect and the location was awesome. Highly recommend the Chinese restaurant right next door. Would book here again. It’s also reasonably close to the Militari bus station."

"This place is SO luxurious! We stayed here for one night to catch a flight the next day. This is a 4 minute walk to the Preciziei metro stop, which means we were able to go from the metro stop (switch lines at Eroilor) to Gara Nord, then take the train to the airport! Don't do that during rush hour, but our Sunday morning journey was super pleasant and not too crowded. This is also a great metro line for a lot of tourist activities, so it's a great choice in location if you're confident with a metro. Check in was at a staffed front desk and they are certainly well-prepared for English-speaking tourists. The room itself was huge, way more impressive than I thought, and extremely clean. We had dinner on the balcony which felt very secure and safe (unlike other rickety balconies I've experienced). The room had a big AC unit which worked really well, even in the June 2026 heat wave. It does have that thing where you put the card key in a slot by the door to turn on the lights and AC in the room, which means everything turns off when you leave. This obviously makes sense, but I selfishly wanted the AC to keep running while we grabbed a food delivery. Not a big deal, and the alternative would be wasteful. This was really one of, if not THE nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. We didn't use any of the other amenities there like the pool or breakfast, but honestly the room alone is worth it."

"The only reason I gave 3 stars for the check-in process is because I have never experienced anything like this before. After this experience, I understand it better. The part of Bucharest where this property is located is very densely populated. More explicit pictures and a map of where the driving and building entrances are would be most helpful to the uninitiated like me. The help that I got was superb! Otherwise, the room was perfect, the kitchen well appreciated, the laundry most welcome. It was a very good place to call home for the week that I was in Bucharest. "

The Line Hotel

"We stayed at The Line Hotel for one night, mainly because we needed to be close to the coach station, and for that purpose it worked well. The hotel has a slightly pompous, showy style to it, but overall it was comfortable and did the job for a short stay. The surrounding area isn’t particularly attractive at the moment, as there are ongoing works on the train lines, so the immediate environment feels a bit unfinished. That said, we genuinely appreciated how quiet the hotel itself was, especially given the location. Overall, it was a convenient and decent option for a one‑night stopover."
