Stayed multiple times

This was our fourth stay at this hotel. It has changed hands over last several years but has changed very little in its nice and quaint historic appearance. Breakfast was good. A lack of air conditioning during the visit caused some discomfort, but higher temperatures were unexpected. This hotel is located within walking distance of most trail areas (and there are a lot of trail areas).

En nat på vej hjem fra bilferie. Nydeligt værelse. Rent og pænt. God varm pool og sauna. Desværre kunne vi ikke få aftensmad hvilket vi virkelig havde behov for efter lang køretur. Vi var kun to personer og hotellet havde ikke oplyst at bookning af bord var nødvendigt. Det må kunne gøres bedre.

Brølende stilhed, fred og ro. Skønt sted, godt at have en cykel med, for heden er et stort sted. Glimrende sauna og dampbad. Svømmebassinet så også godt ud. Lækker morgenmad og udmærket aftensmad på hotellet. Hyggeligt og venligt personale.

Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen! Die chefin fertigte uns auf Nachfrage für eine 15- Personenfeier schnell und uninteressiert ab. Am frühstückstisch lief sie 2 x an ums vorbei ohne uns eines Blickes zu würdigen, bzw. zu grüssen! 4 sterne,??? Für uns kommt diese Lokation nicht mehr in Frage! Eigentlich schade! Aber in Schneverdingen gint es jede Menge tolle Hotels.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage und absolut ruhig

Einige erst kürzlich eingestellte Bewertungen kann ich in den negativ geschilderten Punkte nicht bestätigen. Personal mehr als freundlich, Frühstück auch super, Schwimbad - da kann ich nichts dazu sagen, weil das schöne Wetter dagegen sprach. Es wird auch gerade modernisiert. Die Lage ist einmalig gut. Direkt an Wiesen und Wald und auf der anderen Seite nur 300 meter zu einem wunderschönen Heide-Stück. Der Barkeeper bekommt noch ein extra Lob!

Wunderbare Gegend, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück ist O.K.. Das Haupthaus und der Restaurantbereich sind sehr rustikal im seventies Style ausgestattet. Der Sauna- und Schwimmbadbereich ist total überaltert und abgenutzt. Die Sauna als solches ist aber O.K.. Fittnes soll ein altes Ergometer sein. Mir wurde gesagt, dass das Haus in diesem Jahr noch renoviert werden soll.
