"Booked 2 rooms both not very clean, Need a good scrub"

"The quality and comfort of the property more than met expectations, and is conveniently located. I cannot fault it in any way. My only issues were with Hotels.com; firstly in the fact that there was no information provided about the check in process. I needed to work out for myself that it could only be at the Mayfield Hotel next door. This lack of information seemingly also affected the hotel. On arrival I was asked to pay the outstanding balance by card, which I did. When I checked my bank account later in the day I found I was simultaneously being debited for the same amount by Hotels.com. Thankfully the manager of the hotel was very helpful and reimbursed me for the amount taken."

"The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are dated but have everything you need for the price. Breakfast was very good yoghurt, fruit, seeds etc and a full English. Spa area dated and could do with some updating but great small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice cave. Will stay there again."

"The breakfast was lovely, staff very helpful, hard working and courteous. However my only complaint the breakfast plates were very small, i do understand some people will take more food then they need, but I found it difficut to eat my breakfast on such small plates."

"For £75 i would of thought the room would of been cleaner stains on carpets and on curtains getting charged £6 for parking in front of bins best thing was the view "

"Great stay as a solo traveller. The room was lovely and just the right size, well-equipped and with a beautiful sea view. The food was good with plenty of choice and the evening entertainment was a highlight. I checked in online beforehand but still had to queue for quite a while on arrival, which could have been better organised. Overall though, a brilliant first stay and I’d return."

"We liked everything about the hotel except the view from room window was direct into the very close flats opposite side of road which included a guy that had a hammock in bay window day+nite for 2days staring into ours hence blind needed to be down most of time."
