Marino Beach Colombo

"On arrival the staff that met us were friendly and efficient. The front of house staff checked us in really quickly and room allocation was done quickly. Out luggage caught us up after about 10 minutes in the room. The room gave a 'Wow' factor and it was well presented and very clean and tidy. The restaurants were very good. We used the Buffet Restaurant for Dinner and breakfast, Ocean Grill and Garden Restaurant for snacks and best of all the in house Chinese restaurant for Sunday evening dinner which was a real treat and our favoured restaurant, wish we had found it earlier. The outdoor pool looked amazing and as a swimmer I wish I had had to the time to give it a go. Staff in the restaurants and housekeeping were friendly and polite. A real credit to the hotel. We also made use of the free Colombo Tour which was excellent. Would I come back and stay again, of course I would but I am sure there are many other hotels explore. But for the price and value for money, if this is on your radar give it a go You won't regret your choice."

Property: Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming to our family. Highly recommended for a stress-free, comfortable stay!"

"A nice old classic, charming, grand hotel by the see. Good sized pleasant room - we were upgraded to a suite on the water. Room in good condition. Included breakfast very good. Staff try hard to please."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is still under construction. As a result we heard drills and hammering until after 1am. Phone not connected. Wifi passwords all confused and no one to help. After 2hrs sleep as we had an early flight, I informed the staff at checkout of poor quality stay. They agreed about noise from builders and said others had complained. I asked for manager to folllow up- Nothing!!! I asked Expedia to follow up- and they denied any building going on. Plain lying!!! How disgusting to treat customers this way. AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP!!! "

"The staff at this hotel are exceptional; I've never encountered such helpful service during my travels through over 30 countries. They go above and beyond to assist. When I booked a car and the driver was delayed, the staff quickly ordered another one through their phone and guided the driver exactly where to go. Despite being a little late for our intercity train, their support was outstanding—they even texted me to confirm I boarded the train. I didn’t miss it. That’s how caring they are. They are truly some of the best staff in the world.😍😍"
