Thermostats had signs on them to not adjust temperature, but room got extremely warm and only way to lower the temp. was to open windows and doors. However, the windows barely opened so only effective way was to open front door and balcony door to provide airflow."

"Our room was excellent, the community area was well stocked with utensils, cooking and dinner ware. Everything was very clean, comfortable and warm. The patio area overlooking the road/city center was wonderful. Location is fantastic!!! Roughly the center point of the city center, shops and restaurants abound. We were in Iceland two weeks, easily our favorite place. Would definitely rebook here if we were to return. Highly recommended."

It's an uphill walk, about 20 minutes, to downtown. The room looked larger in the pictures; once the sofabed was opened up there was no room to walk around.
