"Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Parking was a little confusing as the driveway is blocked off. Staff had to release the gate. Super convenient to all on the peninsula. Very walkable. Yummy breakfast."

Hotel Porto

Hotel Porto

8/10 Good
"We used this as a transition place to stay from a late flight into Zadar before we could get into our apartment. It's pretty close to the airport and worked well for our needs. The room was basic but clean and sufficient. The breakfast was also varied and provided a great start to the day, was varied enough to cater for two children. Staff were super friendly and even though we arrived around midnight, all was well checking in. As a place to stay for convenience of flights, would recommend."

Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana l Adults Only

Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana l Adults Only

10/10 Excellent
"Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel is perfectly situated, right next to the sea/beach and a few beachside bars, a five minute walk to the marina and a 10 minute taxi ride to the Old Town. The hotel food was the best we have ever had - truly surprising for the price paid. Dinner comprises four courses, with delicious salads/desserts from a buffet and a choice of starter/main from an à la carte menu. Superb. The hotel staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful and attentive. They really made our stay special. Thanks to all of them, from the staff at reception, pool bar staff, wait staff and bar staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, maintained to a high standard. The daily cleaning was great, and the cleaning staff friendly. The pool area was comfortable and quiet. Perfect for relaxing in the good weather. Finally, the evening entertainment was brilliant. We normally hate hotel entertainment and run a mile, but at this hotel it was charming and tasteful. From dancers, to musicians and our favourite - slight of hand magician Kris - they made our evenings very enjoyable. I think Kris may well have actual magical powers. We took a private yacht excursion on one day, arranged through the hotel. Our yachtsman, Ante, was excellent company and we had a fantastic day, for a very reasonable price. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We will be sure to return."

"Everything was quite. Just a waren up at 2.30 missed and on asking why, I was told that the receptionist rang the room number. But no sound was heard and anyway, one should wait until the person answers. Or go to the room. Also last minute on leaving I was told to pay the local tax, which one could have done on arrival or when visiting the reception. The prebooked lunchpaket was forgotten to be handed over early morning. Everything else was excellent."

Frequently asked questions

What can a history buff expect from a stay in Seline?
A trip to the significant historical sites in Seline is likely number one on your sightseeing itinerary. And while you are here in the area, why not also take some time enjoying all you'll find to see and do here?
How many historical hotels will I find in Seline?
Seline is home to 310 hotels and other accommodation options bookable on Expedia though you won't find many designated historic hotels.
What are the most important historical sites and other places in Seline?
A couple of favourite places to visit are Paklenica National Park and Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians. You'll also find Velebit Mountain and Novigrad Castle in the area.
What is a historic hotel like in Seline?
Guests who choose historic hotels have the opportunity to stay in a place that's been recognised with an official historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can take the form of castles, palaces, grand homes or even old police stations, pubs, lodges or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Seline typically retain authentic elements such as period features or traditional architecture in guestrooms or communal spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
They are quite similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasise the architecture and actual building. Heritage hotels draw their meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it inspired the community.
Do historic hotels in Seline have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, while interiors have safety features and modern conveniences. Guests should expect the popular amenities from a contemporary hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In Seline, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
