Quality, Comfort and Character

Despite arriving late and the automatic key machine not working, we were checked in very quickly and the service at this very friendly hotel was great. The rooms are AMAZING: lots of character and high quality finish. Thank god for the Air Conditioning! This was the best quality room we stayed in during our 14 day, 12 different hotels, road trip!

Éviter chambre 102!

Nous avons demandé une chambre tranquille - effectivement donnant sur le jardin il n’y avait pas de bruit de voitures. Par contre étant au rez de chaussée le bruit des douches, bassins, bref tous movements d’eau du dessus dans les tuyeaux m’avait réveillé plusieurs fois dans la nuit. On aurait préféré une chambre tout en haut. Par ailleurs bizarre la séparation de la salle d’eau sur mezzanine des WC dans un placard à côté des lits.

Stayed here after visiting Alesia. Absolutely first class hotel. Attentive staff and a great (early) breakfast selection. Town is beautiful, with great bars and bistros where we were made very welcome. Highly recommend.

Un hôtel de petite ville.

L'hôtel se situe au bord de la route traversant la ville. Idéalement placé, il permet d'être au cœur de la vieille ville à pieds. Nous sommes arrivés vers 14h, un distributeur automatique nous a délivré notre clé de chambre. Pas de réception ouverte à cette heure. Nous avions la chambre 101 qui est située à l'avant de l'hôtel et donnant sur la rue. La route est pavé, ce qui engendre un bruit assez important lors du passage des voitures ou des nombreux véhicules avec remorques. Cela peut gêner certains, pour notre part, non , car les fenêtres sont assez bien isolées. La chambre fait partie des premiers prix, donc le cadre est assez basique. La salle de bain comprend une baignoire et une douche à l'italienne. Le lit était assez confortable (2 lits simples). Un bruit de petit claquement provenait de la climatisation ou d'une canalisation à l'arrière de celle-ci, et s'est fait entendre tous les soir jusqu'à une certaine heure, sauf le troisième jour où celui-ci a duré toute la nuit, ce qui nous a empêché de dormir ... (Le bruit s'est fait entendre même avec la climatisation éteinte. J'ai mis ma main contre l'appareil, on sentait les vibrations du claquement ... ce qui a été signalé à la réception lors de notre départ) Je déconseille fortement la chambre 101. Le petit déjeuner est très bien fourni avec du sucré et du salé.

La chambre est assez froide à votre arrivée, et la climatisation ne la réchauffera pas mais vous empêcherai de dormir. Le petit déjeuner a été très décevant, limité, au prix de la nuit et du pdj, on est parti assez déçu de la qualité.

Het was een heerlijke ruime hotel kamer, erg schoon met leuke unieke details. Een erg leuk hotel met een ruime keus bij het onbijt. Het enige minpuntje vind ik het bad (hierin moet je dus douchen), zonder enige spatbescherming. Voor de wat ouderen onder ons is het onhandig om over een badrand te stappen. Je kunt niet in het bad staan en dus niet makkelijk een snelle douche nemen.
