We loved using the sunbeds, eating and turtle watching. A small point was that the beach towels were not always clean, otherwise a perfect stay. "Our stay at Villa Bulan Madu was super relaxing, as there are only 5 villas on the property, which are set back from the road and beach. Our villa was absolutely huge, with a gorgeous wraparound verandah, and a cabana in the front garden. We loved the unique covered outdoor bathroom (the shower is uncovered) and having a lovingly prepared breakfast on the beachfront. The staff are so friendly and hospitable; be sure to see Eddy across the road for bike and snorkel hire, as well as tour bookings....

"We had a wonderful stay at Qunci Villas. We were upgraded from a sea view room to room 23, which had fantastic views. Food was fabulous, spa treatments very good. Due to travel problems we had to stay an extra night in another room in the garden area and at the far side of the resort. The room was lovely, but the noise from the local mosque was quite intrusive, especially at 5.10am! Earplugs were offered and of course local customs have to be respected, but if we had booked 4 nights in that room we would have been most disappointed. Overall, beautiful resort, excellent staff, lovely gardens and artwork, but choose your room carefully."

"Beautiful hotel built into the hill overlooking the water. Pool areas were beautiful. Lots of staff who could not do enough to help. Comfortable, clean and spacious room with balcony looking out to the water. Sunset views were amazing from all over the hotel. Food was great and prices were reasonable. Only downside was not being able to sit on the beach and nowhere to walk to. But for a few nights it was fine to not go anywhere."
