What a perfect picnic spot! Found along the side of the highway on the way to the town of Senjahopen on the island of Senja.
The Lofoten Islands get all the love in Northern Norway, but there are plenty of other islands and towns further north that are just as pretty. For example: the town of Husøy, pictured here. It's a fishing village located on its own tiny island in the fjords.
This is the Tungeneset viewpoint on the island of Senja. Senja is not as well-known as the Lofotens Islands in Norway, but just look at that view! Be sure to make some time for a stop here if you're driving the national tourist routes across Senja.

Dommage pour les 200 mètres de chemin à monter à pied avec bagages surtout en pleine saison de neige, cela a été très physique. We had a marvellous stay and Katherine couldn’t have been more helpful. What a special place to stay. Would definitely recommend, especially for the views and possibility of seeing the northern lights. The sauna and jacuzzis are a must, the views from both are outstanding.

Gryllefjord is a tiny Norwegian fishing town on the island of Senja. In the summer months, a car ferry operates between Gryllefjord and Andenes - but it's so popular that you're told to arrive up to 3 hours before your desired departure time in order to get a spot in line. So what do you do with 2+ hours to wait? You go for a walk, of course! Gryllefjord is extremely photogenic.
