"NOTE: ADULTS ONLY !!! Booked this resort 5 hours before our planned departure due to a scheduling issue at another resort. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the resort is less than a year old very nice, fresh and clean. Staff were helpful and extremely kind the entire time we were there (8 Nights), Room was perfect, had a wonderful view of the east end of the island, into the ocean, unfortunately in the future this will disappear due to the construction of a family-oriented resort...

"Room was very clean and the property is beautiful! Pool is good size for the amount of rooms and the breakfast was really great. There were some very load guests while we were there, not hotels fault and had some minor room issues but they were fixed immediately. About a 20 mins walk from the downtown so prepare to walk a bit. "This property is spectacular. The photos don't do it justice. It is beautiful, serene, well maintained. They have thought of lots of little details that are so helpful like providing small coolers in each room, free washer and dryer for guest use, free filtered water fountains and complementary water bottles, etc. Recommend renting a car as its a 15 minute drive to the restaurants and bars and taxis are expensive."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Convenient access to the pool and hot tub--right outside your door. Seven suites allowed everyone privacy and plenty of room for sunning and/or swimming. Reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Bakvaal Suites and I would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Aruba."
