"The hotel has clean modern rooms and the interior decor is also modern. The lobby is large with modern restroom facilities also located here. The housekeeping staff are attentive and helpful. The restaurant staff are helpful and friendly. Door/valet staff are pleasant and polite. The location is central but quiet surroundings. Breakfast buffet variety was fairly good, including fresh pancakes, eggs being made to order, there could be more non-veg options. Pastries did not taste fresh. We also ate in the restaurant a few times in the evening and the menu was vast and food was tasty. Would be a good addition to have spa and pool facilities. The staff can speak Punjabi and English. We also extended our stay. Overall a great experience and would stay again."

"We visited Jalandhar in Aug 2026 and stayed at The Maya. We booked on hotels.com -straightforward booking process and good discounted rates! The Maya is centrally located ,with easy access to local amenities and public transport. I would like to particularly mention the front desk staff - very professional and very helpful. They were all lovely to speak to and greeted with Sat Sr Akal on the phone /in person which I value very much .Nothing was too much trouble .Staff celebrated the Independence day during our stay-they hoisted the flag and decorated the hotel . Food-plenty of choices for breakfast but I feel the quality of food could be worked upon. I still remember Maya from years ago ,when the food here was the talk of the town. I guess I was probably looking for the same quality. Room- comfortable and clean as were the common areas. Good wifi but maybe change to better tv s .The bathroom is a bit cosy but worked okay. Gym-basic gym setup and functional ,helps if you have a long stay Over all a great experience and we will be staying here again!"
