Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa
Hotel showing its age but lake view rooms very nice. Clean and tidy but older part of the hotel could do with full refurbish. Breakfast lovely and evening meal reasonable. Drinks very expensive.

Beech Hill Hotel & Spa
Definitely dangerous for anyone with poor mobility or elderly - over 60 steps from first floor bedroom to pool and spa ! Wife tripped going down garden to lake as railings removed at moment - should be completely boarded off until construction finished . Poor contractors tipping waste into woods ...
