All round a decent place to stay and the building looks great. Bathroom mirror could have been situated closer to the wash basin and the spot light above the wash basin was annoying.

Stayed for a night. Lovely property situated near the university halls of residence. Cosy sized room but very impressive large bathroom with a roll top bath which we didnt expected. Rooms well stocked with tea, coffee and snacks with refill stations situated in the corridors and we were encouraged to help ourselves! Staff friendly and helpful, and even provided some drinks from the bar free of charge as we were celebrating our anniversary. Would definitely recommend and stay again

We absolutely love this hotel and try to stay here when we visit Sheffield. It’s a functional hotel and it works. Food is great as well.

Great hotel, friendly staff, and lots of dining options around. Quite close to Peak District. Area surrounding hotel is the University of Sheffield and it’s a gorgeous campus. Gets a little creepy at night but didn’t find it unsafe. Need to press the buzzer to take your car into the parking lot.

The room facilities are really strong at the property and I particularly like the coffee machines in the room. Breakfast is another highlight, not a massive selection but really good pastries and hot food. I come through Sheffield a lot for work and this is always a great place to stay and such good value

Was lovely area / location , little run down in bathroom , skirting boards pain all chipped off and there was a stale smell in room , not very nice , smelt like damp in air . Breakfast we had was full English , very average , one egg one little sausage , bacon overcooked and in layers stuck together . Looked re heated , customer service lovely in all depts . Grounds beautiful

The staff are great, this is not about them. I checked in at 3.30 and was told dinner would finish at 8.30. I had spent the day in hospital with my mum and got back to the hotel at 7.45 to be told the kitchen was closed for residents as they were catering for a function. This is not what you want to hear when there is nowhere close by to eat. The rooms are basic. TV signal is poor, phone reception is weak. There was no milk for tea or coffee and the only way to make a cup of tea was to heat water through the coffee machine. No iron. Parking tricky because of the function with limited spaces. No aircon and windows with limited openings. Considering this hotel is calling itself a "boutique hotel" it has less facilities than a Premiere Inn.
