"Love the room with the river view and likewise the breakfast area with the same view. Did not like the tiny space provided for hanging clothes. Love that the train station is so close to the hotel. Few minutes to walk there. Plenty of restaurants, really good supermarket."

The building is very old and our room on the lower level had a very musty smell covered by excessive camphor. It made for a difficult and awkward descent and climb for me, as I have respiratory problems. While breakfast was generous, we found the price to be quite steep for a ryokan with no dinner included. The place is isolated, and we were told not to go out at night due to the presence of wild dogs. "
