"This property was poorly maintained, the room was semi clean and the staff were not trained for the holiday flow. To add insult to injury the casino was offline for the first 24 hours. No wallet and only two available luggage carts. The check in clerk questioned the amount of time it took for me to get on an elevator walk to my car and unload it. No concessions were offered for the inconvenience and the staff were unconcerned. I went to Biloxi for Nee Years and stayed somewhere else. I would not recommend that anyone stay there until they get the facility upgraded. Definitely not worth the money. I had stayed there In July and hoped for a better experience. When I asked the desk clerk why things were so different and why my suite didn’t have a sofa when all of the other rooms on the same side of my floor did she responded that all “junior suites” didn’t have sofas and that I stayed on an “upper floor “ during my previous stay. So my questions to Golden Nugget are twofold: 1) are not all guests entitled to clean rooms?; and, 2) why was my room the only one of same size, etc without a sofa and no real explanation given or the opportunity to change rooms. There was nothing “golden” about the Golden Nugget! Completely off my future lists and I would advise against others staying "
