I also recommend more than a night's stay, so you can try the different breakfast styles, restaurants, or take the shuttle into xinbeitou to experience local Taiwanese markets. "The front desk staff was very helpful in getting me information to catch a bus as High Speed Train tickets were sold out! Enjoyed the comfortable bed, and the coffee and water options. I did find food okay for breakfast buffet and also the lounge. I wish they included more sandwiches. Overall, I would come back again to this Marriott property"

"Good hotel in the suburbs of Taipei. The area is not touristic but if you want to see the real Taiwan is a nice place to stay. Metro station is just 2min away and you find plenty of places to eat. The hotel is super clean, rooms are very good size and bed is comfortable. The area is very quiet so you will have a good sleep. The staff of polite and ok. Taking the metro will take you very quick to the main attractions "

"Wonderful hotel for enjoying the Beitou hot sulphur springs experience. Modern Japanese style rooms have views overlooking Beitou Park. Hotel hot pools were elegant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Included breakfast tasty. Short 5 minute walk to Thermal Valley, Hot Springs Museum, and Beitou Library. Best part is the large sulphur spring bath in each room."

"Extremely kind and friendly staff at the front desk. Breakfast menu was small but was sufficient enough to have a meal set option of Chinese or Western food. We got the Love Suite and it was more than enough space for a couple. The room had an amazing Mountain View and a private spa bath overlooking the outside views. Hotel location is fairly close to all the BeiTou attractions. Love the free shuttle service between the hotel and the nearest subway station. Will most definitely book here again!"

"Enjoyed our stay, although the weather did not co-operate. The staff was great, especially Ankor. He was very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and made our stay very nice. Hot springs were good, but not hot enough for me. Good free shuttle to MRT station, close to shopping & restaurants. Schedule was very good for all the different times to use it, to go and return. Hard to walk as very hilly."

"Very unique experiencing staying at a hot spring hotel with private hot spring bath. The design of the room was of a traditional Japanese living space with tatami mat and wood floors. The hotel itself is quite old with old age wallpaper and a very simple washroom. Free shuttle from station for most of the day. Hotel booked us an early ride for us however due to our very early flight which was kind. Bit dusty and antique but overall had a great time!"

"The personal hot tub in the room was the best. Easy to climb in and out of for older couples. Location is next to Xinbeitou MRT so access to a supermarket, restaurants and the thermal spring all within walking distance. Breakfast was good. This was our second time staying here."
