"We stayed 3 nights total during the spring festival. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Takayama train station and a 10 minute walk to the old town (festival activities). "Large hotel outside the city good for group travelers. Onsen on premises was excellent. Breakfast was also good. With my arrival I asked the reception to eat in a Japanese restaurant and was told only available the western restaurant with Pizza, burger etc…. I went to check the restaurants and checked the Japanese one if available and to my surprise they told me no problem I can get reservation which I did. I returned to the reception and asked why I was told otherwise. An apology was in place...

"This is my second time staying in this hotel. I love it because it is right beside the train station. It is so convenient. Rooms were a bit small and they do not have interconnecting rooms for families but the hotel was very nice to take in our side by side room request. Rooms were a little small for 2 pax but it is good for 1. Onsen was great! Best part about this hotel is that they have a laundry machine in every room!!! "
