"Staff were friendly, room was clean & had everything you might need (including ironing board & iron). Breakfast was good. Just be aware that parking is at least £15 for the night (and more if you take the car out and back)."

"This was a quick stop over on a work trip. All I needed was a clean bed and bathroom and that’s what I got. Yes it’s dated and there’s no fanciness but you get what you pay for! Staff very polite and helpful. Big thanks!"

"The room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made for a comfortable stay. However, my check‑in was delayed because Hotels.com sent the hotel incorrect details for my booking — specifically, the wrong first name. As a result, the staff had to spend time verifying that the reservation was actually mine. Everything else on the booking was accurate except for the first name. I’m not sure how this happened, especially since I’ve used Hotels.com to book this same hotel several times without any issues. It would be helpful if this could be looked into to prevent similar delays in the future."

"I always try to stay here when in the area. It's clean, nice rooms, good wifi, pleasant staff, great parking, and the breakfast is lovely (which is the main part when working away). Already booked my next room for when I'm in the area again next month."

"Check in was with an ipad and wanted me to pay again. i had to go in and get help. the first room was ok. beds and pillows comfy. but got up to get ready for my brothers funeral to find no hot water for a shower and breakfast was a microwaved sandwich - which we refused. we went elsewhere for breakfast at a local cafe. we went back to the hotel to move rooms - still no hot water. We were told by a young lady that she could do nothing about the hot water. i washed my hair with cold water and went to the funeral. we got back to the second room and was told that the water was fixed. i did get a hot shower that night. i will not be going back to this hotel. "The staff were very good and evening meal and breakfast very nice. Very disappointed with the fact the key card holder said the bar opened TV12 noon on Saturday but when we asked staff they said it was not open until 3pm. We had arranged to meet friends in the bar at 12 noon so we all had to go into town before the football match which was the purpose of our stay. Maybe someone can amend the information."
