Small hotel in a great location

This hotel is in a great location. The standard room is very small. We could not use the the closet unless we moved furniture. There was no storage space not even a hook to hang a coat . The bed was comfortable but one of us had to climb in cause it was up against a wall. Our only issues were that we were there 2 nights and both times our key cards did not work. The second night dirty coffee cups were left in our room. The staff was very nice and took care of the issues quickly. There were basic amenities in the room. There was no free water as stated on the site. We were told free water is only for guests that purchase breakfast. Overall the hotel was comfortable and in a nice location close to the train station and old town.

Great location, awful service and bad hygiene

The good part first – Sibiu is a beautiful town, and the hotel is well located – an easy walk from the centre. The customer service we received was atrocious. On arrival, we went in the restaurant entrance instead of reception (our mistake), to be told off like children by the receptionist. He didn’t smile once, didn’t welcome us, and seem totally unsuitable for a front of house role. The hotel advert said it had parking available, but this turned out to be parking on the public pavement in front of their gate! Our room was clean and tidy, but the safe was locked when we arrived, so we couldn’t use it. Worse was to come when we had breakfast the next morning – food which should’ve been kept chilled was left out in a very warm room, e.g. the 8–10 yoghurts were warm to the touch. We mentioned this, to be met with a shrug. The breakfast choice was limited, with numerous flies walking over the food. The fried eggs were overcooked and locked as if they’d been sitting out for ages. If location is your only criteria, then okay, but otherwise we definitely wouldn’t recommend the Noblesse Boutique Hotel in Sibiu.

This little hotel is wonderful, right in the heart of Sibiu on a quiet, little street. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and amicable. The best part is the breakfast -- homemade zacusca, homemade jam, slanina, salata de vinete-- all amazing traditional Romanian food. I would definitely stay there again. Sibiu was the trip of a lifetime.

We stayed at the Noblesse for 1 night in May. We needed somewhere close to the Railway station and this hotel was ideal being only a few minutes walk away. The main square was also less than 10 minutes walk away. The room was clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal hotel if arriving by train.

Lovely hotel.

The hotel is near the station: just 5 minutes walk away. Lovely reception staff (Lia and Ionella): engaging, polite, helpful and friendly, as well as speaking perfect English. The old town of Sibiu is just a few minutes up the hill. The hotel is a small one, with just 10 rooms. On the morning we left we needed to catch an early train, and the staff offered to arrange an early breakfast for us. Definitely a good place to stay.

False advertising.

No parking. They advertise to have parking available, but its only street parking. I have a motorbike and was NOT happy. They also do not have handicap parking. There is no fitness center. There is no spa. The restaurant is only for breakfast. Rooms are fune though, and beds comfortable.
