"Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to."

"We had a fantastic two-night stay at The George. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure our stay was perfect. We stayed in Room 2, which was comfortable with a great-sized bed and a lovely view over the harbour. Tea, coffee, fresh water, towels—everything we needed was there and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast was included, and the Full English was cooked perfectly. There was also fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, and orange juice, which made for a great start...
