We loved this hotel! We stayed for five nights in one of their rooms with a private pool. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the best bed of our whole trip (soft mattress and medium firm pillows!). Their restaurant had great food, we enjoyed two massages, and the staff was beyond lovely! The location was great because it was just outside the busy part of town and the hotel offered transportation into town and the airport. We felt very safe and had the best time!
It’s like a home away from home. All the staff from the front desk to the restaurant & spa are very friendly & attentive. Short distance from room to spa, restaurant, pool & reception. Had a wonderful relaxing stay
Great place to stay in Siem Reap, heritage style with large rooms and private pool rooms available too. Free tuk-tuk service into the Old French Quarter/Pub St area which was very handy. Beautiful grounds.
Without a doubt, one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The service was incredible. The staff was extremely attentive, the dining was fabulous. If I ever come back to Siem Reap, I will not look for any other properties. I would definitely stay here again.
The grounds of this resort are very beautiful and well maintained. It added to the charm of the property very much. The room was so comfortable. We stayed in the villa with private pool - highly recommend! The staff are all friendly and very willing to help. We especially appreciated Molika and Ngoun in the restaurant.
The Embassy Angkor Resort & Spa is a beautiful hotel with well kept grounds and clean, spacious and well appointed rooms. It’s not in the center of the city so it was the perfect place to come back to for peace and quiet after a busy day out. They offer free Tuk Tuk service to and from the city anytime you need one so it’s easy to go around.
The staff were so warm and friendly that it always felt like coming home. A special shout out to Barang who welcomed me and gave me a tour of the property and Royal who always made sure I was comfortable, well hydrated and well fed.
We stayed in a room with a private pool. The room was huge, with a soaking tub big enough or two people. The toilet was in a separate private cubicle, and the shower room was very spacious. The pool was deep enough to cover me to shoulder height (I’m 5’3”), and had a ledge at one end for sitting. What it didn’t have was any steps or a hand rail to assist you getting in and out. I have fed that back to the management team directly, but if you are less able to bend, kneel or get up from the floor then bare that in mind if a private pool appeals. The main pool did have both steps and handrail. The bed was very comfortable, and the aircon was efficient. The staff are all lovely. Genuinely friendly people who want to help you have a great time. The free transport to the town centre totally negates the slightly out of the way location of the property - you get all the fun without the nighttime disturbance.
A super stay at the Embassy for one-night, which we wish had been longer!
The resort is beautifully landscaped and decorated from the relaxing pool area, the clean rooms and the gardens. From the very beginning, the place felt welcoming and luxurious.
The eateries were both excellent with super service and fantastic food. The free ‘high tea’ offering was an added bonus and we didn’t know we would get this.
We made the most of the spa while there and my partner and I both enjoyed a treatment for less than $50 for both of us. We would recommend.
The room was amazing and the bathroom in our upgraded Deluxe room was HUGE! The bathtub was lovely and the ‘outdoor’ conservatory shower was amazing.
My only tip would be to make sure you bring insect repellant as there are a lot of mosquitoes.
The staff were incredible and very helpful. Lucky was a superstar when we arrived and helped us organise our spa experience and our airport transfer. The hotel have a free tuktuk shuttle service into Siem Reap centre, which was very useful and appreciated.
Overall, one of our favourite places on our tour of SE Asia and for a brilliant price.
The check in was easy. Most of the staff was friendly. We had several issues including the pool having green water and not being addressed by management, 3rd time someone came and actually looked at the water. We weren’t able to use the pool for most of our stay and were not compensated for the inconvenience. The spa wasn’t a relaxing experience it was just over priced. You get better massages and nail treatments outside of the resort. Which was why there was only one other person there who received services over a two day period. You have to check your bill, I was going to be over charged for the spa until I informed them of the mistake. We also received moldy bottle water from a staff member. There was a mummified frog under the trash can in the bathroom. The curtains were supposed to be white and had brown stains on them. Not a luxury resort at all.
Our stay was fabulous, staff was unbelievable friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this awesome place, will definitely stay agin when I return again.
All staff were very kind and accommodating, the rooms were lovely, everything was clean, nice large pool. Would definitley stay here again.
The private pool suite was very fun.
Warm and helpful staff services that made our stay different. The design, deco and garden layouts are to my liking. Complimentary transport to pub street is also a plus point.
This resort offer tranquility and is located away from the hustle bustle of the old market/pub street, but is a short tuk tuk ride away. The staff were extremely hospitable, particularly Bon Thun, Leap and Manayat, with an astute sense of our dietary requirement (my daughter and I are vegetarians). The hotel organizes tuk tuk rides to the market without additional cost and were extremely hospitable and kind to transfer us free to another resort in Siem Reap. We loved it here and definitely recommend it!
We booked a pool villa which was on its own beautiful!
The Embassy Angkor Resort was remarkable , Bunthorn (concierge) made all the accommodation in Airport pick up and dependable taxi to Angkor Wat. Clean , entire staff professional. Can't take them more , room was comfortable and recommend anyone making a journey for the first time to Cambodia!
