"I was very surprised & impressed at the large size of the room & its cleanliness. Very comfortable. A few items were worn & could use repair. The pool desperately needed a cleaning. Breakfast was ok & simple. Eggs were cold & dry, but then learned the normal breakfast cook was out. All staff were very warm, friendly, & helpful!"
"I was hugely disappointed, and honestly disgusted, by this hotel. Unfortunately, there aren’t many options in Plainview, but we have stayed at Comfort Inns around the country many other times and found them fairly decent. This room cost over $150 on the final price, and it was not even close to being worth that.
The girl who checked us in was friendly and quite helpful when we were not satisfied by our room, so I want to acknowledge her. But when we got into our room, it had a slightly musty smell. There was mold spots on the curtain directly over the AC unit. The furniture was so beat up - tears in the faux leather stools and arm rests of the chair. The sofa cushions were completely sunk into the frame and the fabric looked absolutely filthy. The carpet was stained, and the bathroom was gross. There was some kind of greenish grime under the rim of the sink and around parts of the tub. The toilet was stained, and then it clogged up after my kids went to the bathroom- and only went pee, btw. I called down to the girl who checked us in who apologized and immediately offered to change us to a room down the hall. I was thankful for her at least. But it was 1030pm and I have kids that I was trying to shower and get to bed. We had to move all our stuff down the hall. The new room seemed slightly cleaner, but still very poorly maintained. The next morning I talked to the manager to discuss a partial refund and she said they can’t since it went through Expedia. Would not stay again."
"The room was disgusting and sheets had stains. Shower still had previous customers bar of soap in it so that tell me that shower wasn’t clean. The floor you could tell was not cleaned. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The front desk lady didn’t even offer a partial refund after I complained or anything."
"No one was there to check me in, but staff arrived to give me a key and they were nice. Unfortunately, room was disgusting. Found no bugs on the bed when I arrived, so decided to suck it up and spend the night. Woke up with a dozen bed bug bites on my neck and back."
