This is a hostel.

This is NOT a hotel and also not a Capsule. It is just a hostel with bunk beds. Price you pay is what you can expect for a hostel. Location is fine and safe to walk.

Good points: location (near Chinatown Sta.), drink service (water and tea for free), reception correspondence. Bad points: lighting (floor was so dark, so it was very hard to find things from baggage), breakfast (too simple).

Good hostel in a great location

A good hostel in a great location. I stayed in the room for 16 persons and it was always quiet and very comfortable. We did share 1 shower and bathroom, and if someone was showering you had to search for another bathroom. A little bit smelly in the common areas and the room, but you get used to it quite fast.

Nice dorm bed but inadequate toilet

Friendly n informative staff, high privacy even in big dorm room, space big enough to sit without hitting the head. Good safe design, one complaint is there are totally three toilet plus bathroom n the floor is wet. Public area too little. Don't even think of doing anything other than sleeping here.

First time in capsule hotel, did it for the novelty. Not great for light sleepers and only one bathroom on each floor, no separate toilet. The AC is set very low and you only get 1 blanket. Luggage is stored in a lockable compartment at the base of the bunks, it won’t fit large suitcases. I had a top bunk but if I stayed in a capsule again I’d take the bottom.

Worst place to stay

Rooms dirty with cockroaches. Shower shared by men and women, no place to undress. Towels with a strange odour. No sleep at all due to talking until late at night. No refund despite complaining and checking out early.

The location in Chinatown near bus and trains is great, 20 minutes by foot to marina bay. The female dorm is very dark but clean and spacious. Female bathroom downright unusable, there is a bug nest inside. The other bathroom is ok, very moist and also some bugs. Stairwell and lobby smell like mold and dirty feet because of the shoe cupboard and leaking water pipes. Instead, you should book the bohemian right across the street, the common and breakfast area is there anyways
