"Excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Our room faced the main road and was noisy. At 4.30am there was a lot of noise each morning from a truck doing something in the street. Tram noise started early."

The place was pretty beat up looking on the grounds but it says they're in middle of remodeling which could be true. That room was okay. Definitely not perfect but good for the price. I guess. "In an attempt to make the hotel more popular, it seems the owners re-designed the exterior, the attached shops (Zephyr Walk) and the lobby to make it cool and modern, without maintaining the rooms at all. There is a surprise resort fee, which apparently can range from $30 a night to $45 a night - to cover “amenities”. I’ve stayed at, at least a half dozen other hotels that don’t charge $35 a night per room to light a couple fire pits. Just work it into the room price and stop surprising people. As soon as we checked in, we grabbed our bags and headed to our room, only to immediately get kicked out by housekeeping. They were in our room and just kept saying “just a minute” while we stood in the hallway with our luggage. Considering the hotel also does not allow you to use the bathroom in the lobby until you check in, and we had just driven for 3 hours, we were very uncomfortable. There were strange outlets cut into the side of the nightstand that didn’t seem safe. "
