"This is a motel by the side of a busy road with a new attached atrium. The pool is small and gets full very quickly. Parking is free. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
Rooms are clean and cool but there is no elevator. There are vending machines for soft drinks and snacks. The buffet breakfast is good and filling, with fruit like oranges and bananas and waffles as well as scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy. Main restaurants are in downtown Macon, about 3 miles away.
Adequate for 1-2 nights but not for a longer stay."
"For the price, the hotel was a good stay; however, the receptionist did not ask me if I preferred to stay in a handicap accessible room. I was a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, especially the hair everywhere in the bathroom. Two of the towels had long curly hair on them, and were very dingy. That same type of hair was on the floor in the shower.
The bed spread had what resembled a blood stain on the end by foot of the bed, which I didn’t see until I’d already slept overnight. Other than that, it was a good stay for the price, and for a quick overnight trip. I would stay there again, but I would definitely make sure to inspect the room thoroughly for cleanliness."
"There is black mold! Do not stay here! My room was disgusting and there was an ac until room for the whole floor in there that someone must have forgotten to lock with black mold all over! We packed our stuff up and left and the owner refused to give a refund. We went to the avid hotel just down the road for the same price and it was so nice! Definitely recommend staying there! These room were rough before finding the black mold. The rooms have old dirty carpets and furniture that wasn't clean enough to even want to put my luggage on. I've stayed at a country inn and suites before that was much nicer but this one is privately owned so it doesn't need to be kept to any standard apparently. I would have slept in my car before staying here. The only good thing they had was that the front desk girl was very nice and sympathetic."
