"Did not eat breakfast. A/C turned on the lowest temp did not keep room cool. Bathroom was not at all clean. Rugs and floors throughout were not clean. Walls in the room were paper thin. Our room key failed to work 4 times in 4 days. Each day I had to walk from the furthest room to elevator and down 3 floors to get a replacement key. 4 TIMES! Front desk staff not at all friendly. Will never stay here or re o end here again. "

"Our room was very nice, with great lighting for reading in bed. The room was clean and comfy, with a window seat that doubled as a suitcase rest. Wish the soap had been bigger. The staff was nice."

"Very clean and accommodating to my personal needs. Only gripe is was told I was getting a room. With a king size bed. However it was actually 2 queen beds. Not too terrible. But worth mentioning nonetheless. "

"Truly a historic building with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Indoor pool is large and clean. Outdoor pool was not open yet but looks wonderful. The view of Union City in the valley below was so pretty. We were upgraded from a standard queen room to a king, which was a pleasant surprise. Lobby has a large fireplace and great staircase. We enjoyed playing a couple of games of chess there, accompanied by a drink from the bar. Hotel is older and may lack a few things but...

"I didn't care for the odor in the reception area and hallways. I think it was because I believe the workers were smoking out front. There was a numerous amounts of cigarette butts outside in the front. They were everywhere— on the cub and all over the decorative rocks only near the handicap parking. We had to move from room 424 to 418 because the outlet was faulty. The ladies at the front desk were congenial and helpful in allowing us to switch rooms."

"Clean and stocked room; full fridge, microwave, dishes, kitchen area. Good location and easy commute into Morgantown. Friendly and assistive staff. Highly recommend and would stay again!"

"Nice place to stay before going to Ruby Memorial for surgery. Was put in a smoking room, which is not what I wanted. It smelled as if another person had used the bathroom just before leaving the room. The beds were clean but this room needs a new carpet, or better yet, replace with vinyl flooring."

"We could hear the guy snoring next to us and was loud. But we were able to sleep. We set an alarm for the breakfast which ended at 9:30am. I got there at 910am, the biscuits were hard as a rock and gravy was dried up. The only option was cereal, which I don’t eat usually. We ended up going out to eat for breakfast. Other than that - it was a good stay, dark room and great shower!"
