"The front desk lady (I think she might have been the owner) went above and beyond. I accidently booked the wrong night and showed up a day early. She kindly changed the reservation and gave us a room for the current night rather than the next night which I'd booked. I was slightly past the cancellation time, so she could have charged me for the next night, but she didn't. That's amazing customer service. The room was ready and clean. Comfortable beds. Had a good vibe to it and I just left my door unlocked -not really worried about anybody stealing anything in a place like this-
Some of the place is outdated but that is actually part of its charm
Staff was very attentive in both the restaurant and in the hotel, the food was good, and I had a short but nice conversation with Gail
