"The Kakslauttanen Artic Resort in Lapland, Finland was a spectacular place for a vacation! Our Igloo Cabin was beautiful; it included a sauna and fireplace and easily could have slept a family of six. The property included a planetarium, art museum, event center,and a reindeer/horse enclosure. The cabins were beautifully spaced across a beautiful property. The last night of our stay included an incredible northern lights display as there wasn't a cloud in the sky!"

"This Resort was a pleasant surprise!! While looking for options around Sariselka, there were several choices for glassigloos and resorts. Due to reviews and pricing , I picked this. But I made the best decision This beautiful resort is located on top of a mountain and has ski resort as well. There are beautiful view points up on the hill with a viewing deck. You can have the best views of northern lights ( in the season) here . We stayed in an Aurora cabin and had the best views of northern lights. We could see it from our cabin itself. We also went on a Northen lights mini bus tour , which was an additional activity service available at this resort. Restaurant in the resort has some very tasty limited but very good vegetarian options for dinner . Breakfast was really elaborate with plenty of choices . "

"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. Whilst watching the lights we got ourselves locked out when the cabin door shut after us so make sure you snip the door or take key outside!! Sent a message to customer service (phone number didn’t work for us) and they responded sending a maintenance man to let us back in within an hour (90 euro fee). Did a few activities in the area led by local guides and walks in the beautiful white landscape. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. "

"Truly amazing place for those who seeks privacy, wilderness and nature. Really enjoyed snowmobiles from the resort, dinner options in villa (liked the idea that we had possibility to try local meal) and of course huge villa just for two of us."

"The best part of this hotel is the food. Absolutely fantastic dinner with two different pan fried fish with vegetables. The breakfast was even better. So delicious you would like to spend the rest of the day there. It compensates for the humble and even little primitive room."
