Lumley Castle Hotel
"Lumley Castle is steeped in history. The layout of the communal rooms is a little random and not brilliantly signposted. Staff are all very helpful. Restaurant was good quality. Breakfast good. The rooms lack a few amenities like usb or even plugs by the bed. Soap and shampoo is all that is provided ..."

Durham City Cottages
"The cottages were easy to find the space small, but well set out and modern, the bed was horrible, we both had sore backs the next day, the mattress is very worn and you can feel the springs, and needs replacing, I would not recommend staying until they replace the mattress, at least in cottage 6, ..."
